Explore Kamakura's Natural and Historic Beauty on Foot

Immerse yourself in the seasonal nature and the Zen Buddhism world of Kamakura, home of the SAMURAI.

Overview

Kamakura, where the first Japanese Samurais were, has a lot of historical temples, shrines, and other historic sites. It’s an international sightseeing city where many tourists visit every year. It is only one hour from Tokyo by train yet is blessed with both sea and mountains. You can enjoy wonderful views from the areas many hiking trails. In this tour you will walk from Kita-Kamakura to Hase-dera Temple while enjoying the rich nature and the profound history and culture. It’s especially recommended to come in hydrangea season as the temples around Kita-Kamakura are well known for their stunning blue hydrangea gardens.

A quiet and serene Zen temple surrounded by forest, the Jochiji temple was built in 1281 by Hojo Tokoyori, a leader of the Kamakura Shogunate, in order to honour his son who had died young. It is nice to stroll through the grounds of this temple, enjoying the lush flowerbeds and bamboo groves. Remember to rub the belly of the statue of Hotei, as this is said to bring you good fortune.

② Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine(10:10〜10:35)
Next you will walk along the Daibutsu Hiking Course through the mountains until you reach a mysterious hole in the hillside, framed by a torii gate. Go through that hole and you'll find the Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine. Built in 1185, the shrine strongly emits the scent of incense and is filled with a rare blend of both Shinto and Buddhist monuments. Explore until you find a small cave with a natural spring bubbling inside. Here, people wash their money in the spring's water as it is said that money washed in spring will double in the summer.

IMG_9449.jpg③ Sasuke Inari Shrine(10:50〜11:05)
According to legend, the first Shogun of Kamakura Minamoto Yoritomo was visited in his dream by a white fox (known as Inari) who advised him how to win a battle against his enemies. Emerging from the battle victorious, Minamoto built the Sasuke Inari Shrine in gratitude. Set in the mountains surrounded by dense green forest, there you can find a tunnel comprised of over 100 red torii gates, just like Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto. The shrine also contains hundreds of mini white inari foxes and the site of an ancient "hidden village".

The great Kamakura Buddha stands at 13.35m tall and weights about 121 tonnes. The construction of the bronze statue of Buddha as it appears today dates from 1252. It is one of the biggest Buddha statues in Japan and is definitely worth seeing. You can even enter inside the great statue.

⑤ Hasedera Temple(13:00〜13:30)
Hasedera Temple is located about halfway up Mount Kamakura. The temple, therefore, has excellent views south over the ocean and the picturesque Yuigahama Beach. During June and July you can see the grounds full of blooming hydrangeas. Hasedera is home to a 9.18m tall Kannon statue with 11 heads - one of the largest wooden Buddhist statues in Japan. There is also a small but spooky and atmospheric cave to explore in the gardens.

IMG_6646.jpg
⑥ Yuigahama Beach(13:40〜13:50)
The beach faces south so you are always going to see the sun over the ocean from this point. Relax and chill here and catch the lovely views! During summer there is an open air market called the Umi-no-ie which is good to check out.

Kamakura Walking Tour

I would highly recommend this tour! It was easy to get to Kamakura via the transit system (two switches that was all). It was also highly personalized. I was the only person on the tour! I really enjoyed going to temples and shrines that were as historic as some of the major ones but not listed in every traveler's guide. It was nice to be the only tourist at several of the locations, until the Big Buddha. My tour guide, Yoko, was very personable, spoke very good English, and both of us had unique experiences along the way. She was flexible and we ate a local lunch together as well (not included, but very delicious!). I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see Japan off the beaten path a bit but also see the major touristy sites, such as the "Big Buddha".

Excellent tour of Kamakura!

We took this tour of Kamakura with our two small children. Yoko, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and its temples and shrines, as well as Japanese customs. She was also very helpful and understanding with regard to the needs of our children. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kamakura, which should be a stop on any itinerary of Japan. It is a beautiful city with many great attractions, including but not limited to the Great Buddha.

Better than any JTB Sunrise Tour

This was hands-down one of the best tours that I ever joined in Japan. I have joined the Kamakura Walking Tour and the Yanaka Walking Tour and I found those tours (Omakase) to be far superior to the rushed pace of a JTB Sunrise Tour.
We really felt as though we were able to see the temples and shrines we visited through the eyes of a native. We could enjoy the beautiful weather, and take our time to really appreciate the sites we were seeing.

Not to mention, each Omakase Tour provided kind and knowledgeable tour guides who were able to point out interesting things I would have NEVER noticed.

Just a really great experience for me and my mother.

Incredible Kamakura ❤️

I had the most AMAZING time on the Kamakura Walking Tour! I was able to soak up the serenity of this spiritual seaside town and thanks to my very kind and knowledgable tour guide, Yoko, learn all about the history and symbolism of the immortalised deities and picturesque shrines and temples. So much clarity in a headspace amongst the treetops. Feeling suitably zenified. Goal attained! Thankyou Yoko for making this trip one I'll always cherish! I would highly recommend this fabulous tour, which provided fodder and fuel for all five of my senses.

A beautiful day in Kamakura

One of the best days in me and my wife's holiday in Japan last week, this was the third time for me in Kamakura and for sure the best one.
Yu is an excellent guide and the perfect company for this trip. Strongly advised to all except those who do not like walking in the woods and some exercise.

Wonderful and unforgettable tour!

It was a great experience for me and my son (very beautiful gardens, temples and the Great Buda oh!). Our English is not so good. So Yoko, our guide, help us a lot, with her knowledge about history and japanese culture and because of her patience and kindness. Besides, she is very good humored, making the tour even more pleasant. Wonderful!!!

Kamakura Walking Tour

Outstanding tour! Advance communication from the company was helpful. From the moment our guide, Yoko, met our train with a sign with our names, we knew we were in for a treat! Despite the slight rain, this was truly a special day. Each site we visited was distinctive. Walking through the town and the forests gave us a full sense of the culture -- buildings, nature, people, customs. Yoko was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her country and culture; she answered all our questions and was interested in our responses. And she was patient with my many stops to do photos, even sometimes holding my umbrella over me and my camera. The walk is not difficult (Yoko let us set the pace) and is a perfect way to approach the temples and shrines. Lunch stop was also excellent. Yoko worked in side trips so we could see the ocean and stop at a special store. She also escorted us onto the train back to Tokyo -- taking the local train was a special treat. We love having the materials she provided: detailed map, postcards, and photos of us that she took and emailed. This tour was a highlight of our Japan visit -- we would gladly do it again! We recommend it highly for people of all ages.

Unforgettable Tour of Kamakura!

This has been one of my favorite tours I've ever done. Takeshi, one of the operators at Omakase, was super responsive and accommodating when we were scheduling the tour. Our guide, Yu, was also just as responsive and accommodating. The moment we got off the train at Kita-Kamakura, she greeted us with warmth then proceeded to explain the tour and itinerary. We happened to visit Kamakura on such a beautiful, cool day. The entire tour is by foot, so prepare yourself by bringing some water and comfortable walking shoes. Yu took us to five different temples and shrines, and ended with us visiting the Yuigamahama Beach. You'll be doing some light hiking through the mountains for some beautiful sights. Yu was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. She pointed neat little things during our tours we wouldn't have ever noticed. What I really loved about this tour is that we got to take our time visiting each site and appreciating its history and beauty. Many other tours would hit a lot of tourist hot spots just to check it off the list.

I highly, highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to visit Kamakura. You'll be touring with a local and also hitting roads less traveled.

An incredible experience!!!

INCREDIBLE AND UNFORGETTABLE, despite the light but incessant rain, walking and seeing the beautiful scenery of Japan, where we could not see Mount Fuji due to the rain-filled clouds. I think that made it even more spectacular. The temples and the Japanese culture is as I have always been told, spectacular.
Knowing the town and the landscapes makes the perfect combination for all people, that is, they will walk a lot so ... go prepared to climb and walk a lot. Our guide is and always will be an excellent person who is interested in our doubts and very passionate about his work.
Highly recommended!

Fun day at the countryside :)

It was a nice day exploring Kamakura - over an hour trip via train from Tokyo. We took the scenic forest route to visit different temples (even one located inside a cave), “wash money”, drink tea, see the Great Buddha, and visit the bamboo grove. Yu was very informative and took care of us. Definitely recommending this tour for those who love nature and want to see a different side of Japan.

Great Kamakura Day Tour

I had some extra days in Kamakura alone after visiting other parts of Japan, so I decided to book this day tour. My tour guide, Noriko, met me promptly at Kita-Kamakura station. She was extremely friendly and easy to get along with (I was the only one on the tour that day). She gave explanations at each Shrine and Temple and answered any and all the questions I had. I highly recommend Noriko as your tour guide because you can tell she loves what she does. I very much enjoyed getting to know about her life/travels and also learning about Kamakura. The tour is a great combination of some trekking (be prepared to trek for about two 30 minute sessions) and relaxing (shopping at Great Buddha, yummy local lunch, tour ends at the beach) I had a lovely day with Noriko, so much so that I am planning to come back to Kamakura with my parents and book the same tour. Highly recommend!

Beautiful sites and excellent guide!

If you are looking to experience some of the traditional culture that Japan is famous for, this tour of Kamakura is well worth the price. Yoko is a wonderful tour guide who will provide you with first-rate service every step of the way. It’s obvious how much she enjoys giving this tour, and we had great conversations all day. She will also take photos of you throughout the tour, and she knows all the best spots for them. What Yoko did best was help me to understand and experience traditions that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. She showed me how to perform the temple purification and prayer rituals and being able to take part in these really made the experience more authentic and enjoyable. There are lots of other traditions to experience at the sites - we washed coins, painted calligraphy on stones, drew fortunes, and Yoko even bought me a small good luck charm as a souvenir! Even though it was unseasonably hot and I was the only one on the tour, Yoko went above and beyond to ensure that I got the most out of the day – simply a great and memorable experience.

Wonderful Way to Explore Kamakura!

We had a wonderful tour of Kamakura thanks to our guide Noriko! Being able to have her guide us to each site while walking through the beautiful nature paths was a perfect way to explore Kamakura. She offered important information about each site and we learned so much during our tour with her. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Highlight was the amazing Kanon status in Hasedera. Great guide

We explored about 5 temples starting from Kita Kamakura. Lots of walking in beautiful countryside and forest. The great Buddha was "great" but Kanon and the surrounding temple complex was most impressive. Had a great local lunch in town which our wonderful guide Fumiko found for us. Afterwards, she helped us make our way back to Kamakura town by local bus, and we found a lovely local market and some delicious potato ice cream. A worthwhile local and historical experience. Thank you Fumiko.

Lovely tour of the shrines and temples in Kamakura!

We did the trip as a one day tour from Tokyo (Family of four, kids aged 14 and 12 years). It was easy to get to Kita-Kamakura using the Japan Rail Pass, where we met our guide (Fumiko). She welcomed us warmly and we did a walking tour through Kamakura including a nice stroll in the forest of about 40 min. Our guide had a lot of knowledge about the visited sites and introduced us to the ritual when entering a temple as well what the meaning within the temples are (symbols, behavior etc.). We enjoyed a typical Japanese lunch that Fumiko recommended. At the end of the tour we visited the beach.
We all had a great time and can definitely recommend this tour.

We were so glad we chose this tour as one of our day trips from Tokyo. Our guide, Yu, was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Kamakura is beautiful, and a wonderful respite from Tokyo. This tour involves hiking in the hillsides around Kamakura which is beautiful and relaxing. The temples and shrines are fabulous. If you like history and nature, you will love this tour!

Noriko (tour guide) made the trip amazing!

My partner and I decided to do a private walking tour (3 hours) to visit Kamakura. Our tour guide Noriko was simply amazing. She met us at the train station and made sure our needs were fully met. For example, my partner could not do the mini-hike as he was recovering from a back injury, and she was flexible and suggested alternatives that were equally enjoyable. She answered all our questions and was lively and bubbly throughout the tour. Kamakura region is absolutely beautiful and certainly falls in to the "must see" if you like the outdoors, history and architecture (especially Shinto and Buddhist), and a wonderful tour guide just makes it all the more enjoyable!

Reunion with High School Friends

This Japan trip was to relive our youth after not having seen each other all together for 32 years since graduating from high school. We all felt that the Kamakura tour was the best experience out of the activities we did together. Not only was it very informative and interesting, thanks to our wonderful guide, Noriko; it also became a test of endurance, patience and determination for all of us! We were certainly not prepared to hike through hills, mud and steep inclines as the samurais actually did in the past and be outpaced by other hikers from the local high school before reaching each destination (a truly humbling realisation as we all still felt young...at least in our minds). But the experience and time we spent together laughing at each other's antics along the way & encouraging each other to keep going until the next stop will be forever etched in our memories. This is an experience we all hope our own children can do together with their own friends someday. Thank you to the tour organisers and to Noriko for such a rewarding experience.

Fascinating culture and nature walk

During previous stays in Japan I had seen several shrines and temples, but I did not know much about religions in Japan and the related rituals. So I was looking for a guided tour. Since it was the day after a business trip I wanted some nature experience and hiking rather than sitting in a tour bus. This walking tour exactly matched what I was looking for. I just booked it the day before. Note that the tour is not available for the age group 60+.
Confirmation by the agency and appointment with the guide by WhatsApp were convenient. The best way to get to Kita-Kamakura is probably to take JR Yokosuka line directly, e. g. from Tokyo Station.
I met Yoshinobu at the West Exit. We started our impressive tour during which we visited quite a number of beautiful places with different shrines and temples including the breathtaking Buddha statue, all the way with very interesting and informative explanations. I got my many question answered and learned a lot about history, religion and life in Japan. In between we walked along nature trails connecting the sights in the forest across the hilly landscape - absolutely after my fancy. Sometimes you needed to watch your step because of a steep slope or roots on the path, so my running shoes with good grip were a perfect choice. The last stop was one more highlight of the tour, the beautiful Hase-dera Temple area. After about 5 hours our tour ended at Yuigahama Beach where I spent some time relaxing and watching before I returned to Tokyo. It was a great day with many impressions worth to remember, supported by several nice photos the guide took during our tour and sent me by email. I can really recommend this walking tour with both fascinating culture and nature aspects.

“EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!!”

We booked this tour not knowing what to expect being first timers in Japan. We arrived at the station to meet our guide Noriko and the tour exceeded our expectations times ten!! I could not say enough great things about our guide and the tour itself! Noriko was VERY knowledgeable, funny, and interactive through the whole tour. We really got s chance to know her and vice versa. She went out of her way to find a lunch restaurant to find something that my picky husband would eat, and was very patient while we took photos and asked questions. She even went out of her way to take us to a shopping area to get something special I was looking for my son back home. I will say, be prepared to HIKE!!! The term “walking tour” doesn’t do it justice as it is a hike over high terrain but we loved it!!! Noriko gave us memories to last a lifetime! If you only take one tour while in the area, book this one!!!

Highlight of our recent trip to Tokyo!

Highest marks for our English speaking guide, Yu Kameda, and our Half-Day Kamakura tour walking the quiet and scenic routes to see several diverse temples and shrines, including the Giant Buddha, a delicious local lunch and ending on the sands of Yuigahama Beach. We’ve been to Japan many times, but hadn’t experienced life outside of Tokyo in a small seaside city like Kamakura, the former capital of Japan. It was absolutely worth the adventure and so easy to navigate: a short train ride (no switching) from Shimbashi Station in Tokyo to Kita-Kamakura. Yu-san texted us an itinerary and contact info, and was waiting for us at the train station when we arrived. We really enjoyed her local and historical knowledge of Japan. We had questions about Buddhism and various practices which Yu-san was able to share insights, ultimately giving us such a fascinating and memorable tour. She helped us with our return train tickets and made sure we caught the right train back to Tokyo and even gave additional recommendations near our hotel that we eagerly saw before we left for our USA home. You'll be walking a few trails, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes. It's not strenuous though - my 70+ mom was totally fine and Yu-san gave us options to detour to flat routes as needed. Next time we’re in Japan, we’re going to book another tour with Yu-san! Domo arigato!

Great tour in Kamakura

Vivamente consigliata. Grazie Yoshi. P.s. La guida parla solo inglese.

It was a perfect day to start with my friendly guide Yoshi-san who speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable. The half day tour was well planned with plenty of things to see and do. I enjoyed the history of the surrounding area as well as the temples and shrines. As a Buddhist learner myself, it was an experience of a lifetime to be able to see the blossom of Buddhism in Japan during the Kamakura period. Do bring your own food if you are a vegetarian with comfortable footwear. This is a great tour and thanks to my guide, I had a wonderful time at Kamakura, recommended to all!

“Perfect mix of exploration, discovery of nature and culture”

I booked this tour almost last minute (Friday around 1:00 pm for Saturday morning) and although the fine prints said you needed at least 2 people on the tour I ended up getting a full private tour for 5h! I received a confirmation very fast as well as all the details to meet the guide (picture of the guide with ways to contact him, of the meeting location and a detailed agenda for the tour). Very well organized, nothing was left out so you do not have to worry at all. I met Yoshinobu Kurashina at the Kita-Kamakura station and then we started our tour. It said have comfortable shoes for a ealking tour - it was a hike. I would highly encourage to come ready for a hike because it was a real hike in the forest and hills! Good amount of walking, in very peaceful and quiet areas to see many temples and shrines. perfect to get some nature after a week of busy meetings! Kurashina-san was very knowledgeable of the story, culture and I learned a lot in 5 hours about Japan, Kamakura, differences between East and West Japan, different religious influences. The tour was very nice and especially besutiful at this time of the year. I highly recommend this tour!

Just a short train ride from Tokyo, ths unique tour is definitely worth finding space in your itinery for. Walking from each shrine or temple to the next through forest tracks gives you a different view of Japan that you wouldn't get just staying in the big cities. My guide Yoshi-san spoke fluent english and was quite knowledgable of each location and to the questions he did not know the answers to he was happy to ask the locals for me. There was plenty of time to enjoy each location and plenty to enjoy. I had a great time in Kamakura and highly recommend this tour.

Very Good Tour and Excellent Tourguide

This tour was excellent and a lot of fun. Noriko, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and a really nice person. The tour takes you off the beaten path, which I really loved, but that does mean that there is some actual hiking involved through the hills surrounding Kamakura. That being said, the hiking portion is well worth it, as the countryside is wonderful. I've been on many excursions while traveling, and I would say that this is one of the best ones I've been on!

Great guide, beautiful walk/hike, learnt a lot

We as a family of 4 adults loved the morning spent with Noriko in Kamakura. Noriko's English is wonderful and her friendly relaxed manner made for a great tour. We got off the beaten track and it was not a difficult walk if you have no mobility or health issues. Best of all we could ask Noriko about a lot of Japanese culture, not just the temples visited. We were surprised to pay quite a bit extra each as a 60 and 66 year old? When we mentioned this to Noriko she was surprised and said she would ask the company which she did. The company has since changed this as it made no sense to us but unfortunately we paid more which made it an expensive tour. Having said that would thoroughly recommend it, we thought it was a highlight of our two weeks in Japan and can't thank Noriko enough.

We had the best time with Yu as our guide. Yu was very knowledgeable and interesting. She contacted us before the tour and helped us plan our journey to the meeting point. I would recommend this trip and Yu as an excellent guide.

Great introduction to Japan!

This was the first tour that we took in Japan after arriving 2 days prior. The day before we had visited Shibuya and Harujuku, very busy and interesting areas of Tokyo, showing the urban side. This tour showed the mountainous country side of Japan, complete with shrines, temples, a great garden lunch, a little shopping, and views of the bay and beach around Kamakura. Our favorite part of the tour was the activity level of the hike, and Yu-san’s description of the history, culture, and geology of the Kamakura region. Yu-san answered all of our questions with great knowledge and kept the tour customized to our interests. I highly recommend any tour of the Kamakura area and especially any tour by Yu!!

AMAZING & spectacular way to experience the beauty of Kamakura!

EXCELLENT! We spent a half a day with our very knowledgable and super accommodating guide, Yu. She is a Kamakura local and had all the info (in English!) on our walk through the beautiful wooded paths and hills of Kamakura. We visited multiple very famous historical Shinto and Buddhist shrines, that we would of never found by ourselves. Yu had all the historical background on the shrines, as well as information on the general surroundings during our 5 hour walking tour. Make sure to bring Yen for the multiple stops & lunch, and wear good walking shoes as some of the hills and terrain are steep. Unforgettable tour - a must do!!

Loved it! Kamakura is beautiful

Noriko was my guide. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. Part of the hiking trail was muddy due to all of the rains but she was able to adapt and make good use of our time. Kamakura is a beautiful town with lots of rich history. I felt like I was with an old friend on this tour and it made it so enjoyable.so much to see! I will be doing this tour again when my family comes into town. Great tour, great tour guide and beautiful city. Noriko was the best!!!

Amazing day trip of Kamakura

We had such an incredible time in Kamakura. We went from Tokyo for the day, one and a half hours to get there (very easy) and our tour guide, Noriko, was waiting for us at the train station. She was amazing and made our day incredible! She took our around different beautiful temples through some gorgeous hikes and walks, and she was so knowledgeable about the history of Japan and about Buddhism and Shintoism. We had a delicious lunch followed by more sightseeing, all culminating in the statue of the Great Buddha - such an incredible sight to see. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo for the day.

Kamakura hiking trip

The half day Kamakura hiking trip was unique comparative to other trips we had in Japan. I do not want to describe it. I would like people to experience it. Its like describing a movie and later nobody wants to watch it. I just want to tank many times our guide Yu-san. I think we were lucky that she spend time with us there.

Kamakura Tour with Yoko.

We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Our tour guide Yoko made the tour very memorable, Yoko was very approachable, friendly and incredibly informative of all the key historical information in all of our stops on the tour and helped our special day happen ( a proposal). We hope to see Yoko again in the future when we return to Japan. Thank you very much again from Henry & Melissa

Lovely tour of Kamakura

We had the pleasure of going on a tour with Noriko-san in Kamakura. Noriko-san had selected some of the highlights of Kamakura, and swapped in a few different during the Day based on hearing our interests. We especially enjoyed the many fun facts and stories Noriko-san could tell us from the area. We will be recommending the tour to friends and family, and hope to see more sights in the area in the future.

Worth the walk

Magical Day! I expected this tour to be good, but Teiko (my guide) exceeded all expectations. She was in contact with me before the tour, ensuring that the lunch options would meet my dietary needs. The tour started with a walking download of the history of Kamakura. I've been living in Tokyo 9 months and this was my first time to the Kamakura area. I'm so glad I had a guide, Teiko, as there were many hiking trails and entrances I would have missed just using a map or my phone. She was always prepared, even providing bug ointment after I was bitten. Learning about the cave shrines which are unique to the area was great. She also made sure I "washed my money" the proper way at Ugafuku Shrine. We ended with a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach!

Beautiful walking your of Kamakura with a wonderful guide

Noriko was FANTASTIC!!!! We arrived in Kamakura without having had our morning coffee; she was quick to adjust our trip to include a delicious coffee at Verve...and the day just kept getting better. The temples and shrines in Kamakura are so beautiful. The hike up the mountain trail was unexpected and soooooo much fun. The Great Buddha was beautiful. Seeing the Pacific Ocean from this side of the planet was fun (watched some surfers hitting the waves, as well). Noriko had so many interesting facts about all the stops and of Japan, in general. She kept the tour moving along and kept it interesting the whole time. We enjoyed our time with her very much and Kamakura was the highlight of our trip to Japan!

Wonderful day in Kamakura

We had a really lovely day exploring the shrines and temples of Kamakura with Yumi. The area was beautiful and charming, especially compared to the other bigger cities we visited. Yumi was so friendly and knowledgeable and helped us to enjoy the rituals at each temple. Our day with her was among our favorites during our visit to Japan.

Great walking tour in Kamakura

We had a wonderful time with our guide, Teiko, on this tour! We saw beautiful shrines and temples and Teiko provided us with background information on these spots that we otherwise would not have known. I would recommend!

Book this great tour!

We had a fantastic tour with Yumi! She was a stellar guide and made our tour experience fantastic. It was so helpful to have her share more cultural and historical significance to the sights we were seeing. We were in Tokyo for a week, and it was nice to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a day. Additionally, my dad is blind, and she was very patient on the hike, and describing things for my dad and answering his questions. Can’t recommend this tour, or Yumi enough.
