Hamajima is known as "Phantom Island" as it only appears at low tide. On this half day tour you can enjoy snorkelling in the clear blue tropical waters surrounding it.
Hamajima is an uninhabited island that can be reached in about 30 minutes by boat from Ishigaki Island. The island is entirely beach, and is considered so beautiful that it is often used in commercials, tv shows and model shoots. You will be surrounded by the sea on all sides, and of course you will have the chance to snorkel in the high-quality coral reefs nearby.
Itinerary:
8: 00/13: 30 - We will pick you up at the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal.
8: 15/13: 45 - Arrive at the pier.
8: 30/14: 00 - Depart for Phantom Island!
9: 00/14: 30 – Dock on the phantom island! Time to relax and take photos and soak in all the sun and fresh air.
9: 30/15: 00 - Leave the phantom island and head to the snorkeling point!
9: 45/15: 15 - Start snorkelling in the tropical waters off Ishigaki!
10: 15/15: 45 - Snorkelling finished. Return to the port.
11: 00/16: 30 - The tour ends.

• The meeting / dissolution time may change depending on the season and the field conditions on the day. The day before the tour, we will contact you regarding the meeting place and meeting time. If you do not hear from us by the evening of the previous day, please call or email us.
• The tour is held in the rain. However, if we determine that the sea is not safe, we may cancel the tour.
• Please change your clothes so that you can get wet in advance.
• We kindly ask that you use the restroom in advance before participating (there is no restroom near the site).
• Participation after drinking alcohol is not accepted.
• If you are late, please contact us in advance.
