Overview

Sake and buckwheat "Taji" is a soba restaurant located along Osaki Hirokoji, a 6-minute walk from Gotanda station. In this experience, you will have about 3.5 hours to enjoy buckwheat noodles made from Hokkaido stone milling powder and some special chef's Japanese foods (5 items), as well as sake (rice wine) in private. Chef Taji teaches soba production well, and in order of weighing, watering, kneading, letting sit, rolling up, extending, folding and cutting the noodles.

After the soba noodles have been completed, you will enjoy it together with seasonal sake seasoned from across Japan as well as 5 different types of Japanese foods as recommended by chef Taji. Please enjoy this pleasant time like you are Japanese, living locally, with an atmosphere that other visitors can never experience. This buckwheat experience is only for entertainment – it is not intended as a professional, full-scale lesson – so feel free to participate without worrying about it being too serious. Enjoy like a local!
